Contaremos con presentaciones científicas y académicas, talleres y dinámicas de Visión Remota y Visión Directa, y módulos vivenciales de Presentimiento y Psicoquinesia.

Welcome to the 1st Mexican Meeting on Consciousness Expansion! This event is organized by the Center for Research on Synergy and Consciousness (CISC). This meeting is more than a conference, it is an opportunity to live a unique experience in our Techno-Psychic Festival. We will have scientific and academic presentations, workshops and dynamics of Remote Viewing and Direct Viewing, and experiential modules of Presentiment and Psychokinesis.

Alejandro Álvarez
Alejandro Álvarez, biólogo de formación con Maestría en Ciencias Biológicas y Doctorado en Ciencias por la UNAM, funge como Investigador Especializado en Biología y Parapsicología en la UPIDE. Su notable trayectoria se caracteriza por la presentación de diversos trabajos en foros nacionales e internacionales, posicionándolo a la vanguardia de la investigación. Su enfoque se centra en dos áreas fascinantes: la posibilidad de supervivencia de la conciencia después de la muerte corporal y la intrigante relación entre la biología, la parapsicología y la evolución.
Alejandro Álvarez, a biologist by training with a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences and a Doctorate in Sciences from UNAM, serves as a Specialized Researcher in Biology and Parapsychology at UPIDE. His remarkable career is characterized by the presentation of various works in national and international forums, positioning him at the forefront of research. His focus is on two fascinating areas: the possibility of the survival of consciousness after bodily death and the intriguing relationship between biology, parapsychology, and evolution.
Rodrigo Arriola
Rodrigo, psicólogo clínico y Máster en Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual (CBT), aporta una rica experiencia como investigador asociado en el Instituto Nacional de Cardiología y el Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía en la Ciudad de México. Su dedicación en proyectos de neuromodulación no invasiva respalda su profundo conocimiento en la intersección entre la mente y la fisiología. Actualmente, Rodrigo también desempeña un papel esencial como investigador en UPIDE, enriqueciendo nuestro equipo con su experiencia multidisciplinaria.
Rodrigo, a clinical psychologist and Master in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), brings a wealth of experience as a research associate at the National Institute of Cardiology and the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery in Mexico City. His dedication to non-invasive neuromodulation projects supports his deep understanding of the intersection between the mind and physiology. Nili Bar
Nili Bar, distinguida investigadora de la UPIDE, desempeña un papel crucial como experta en Visión Directa. Actualmente, Ramsés es investigador en la Unidad Parapsicológica de Investigación, Difusión y Enseñanza (UPIDE), siendo también miembro fundador del Centro de Investigación de la Sintergia y la Consciencia (CISC).
Ramsés D’León stands out as a prominent researcher in the field of parapsychology and the phenomena of consciousness expansion. With a notable international presence, he has published and presented scientific articles in various renowned forums. Currently, Ramsés is a researcher at the Unit of Parapsychological Research, Dissemination and Teaching (UPIDE), and is also a founding member of the Center for Research on Synergy and Consciousness (CISC).
Teresita García de Léon
Teresita García de León realizó estudios de maestría en Terapia Sistémica (cédula 12132280) y se tituló con la tesis “Mindfulness: Un recurso psicoterapéutico para la terapia sistémica”. Cursó la maestría en Estudios Latinoamericanos, un diplomado en Historia, estudios de licenciatura y distintos cursos. Interesada en fomentar las prácticas contemplativas y el estudio de la Consciencia. Es miembro fundador del Centro de Investigación de la Sintergia y la Consciencia, ex Coordinadora de su Seminario y actual Directora del Área de Desarrollo de Potencial Humano.
Teresita García de León completed her master’s studies in Systemic Therapy (license number 12132280) with her thesis «Mindfulness: A psychotherapeutic resource for systemic therapy.» She also completed a master’s degree in Latin American Studies, a diploma in History, undergraduate studies, and various courses. She is interested in promoting contemplative practices and the study of Consciousness.
Alejandro Escolá-Gascón
Alejandro Escolá-Gascón es profesor de Métodos Cuantitativos y Estadística en la Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid. Con un doctorado en Estadística Aplicada, su investigación se centra en psicometría, modelización de ecuaciones estructurales y análisis de datos. Ha desarrollo el inventario Multiaxial de Sugestibilidad Multivariable-2 (MMSI-2) para evaluar experiencias paranormales. También ha trabajado en la Universidad Ramon Llull y el Grupo Hospitalario Quirón, contribuyendo a estudios sobre pensamiento crítico y detección de noticias falsas.
Alejandro Escolá-Gascón is a professor of Quantitative Methods and Statistics at the Comillas Pontifical University of Madrid. With a PhD in Applied Statistics, his research focuses on psychometrics, structural equation modeling and data analysis. He has developed the Multiaxial Multivariate Suggestibility Inventory-2 (MMSI-2) to evaluate paranormal experiences. He has also worked at the Ramon Llull University and the Quirón Hospital Group, contributing to studies on critical thinking and detection of fake news.
Ibrah Gabriell
Ibrah Gabriell es comunicador e investigador especializado en estados expandidos de consciencia. Ha sido profesor universitario en áreas de Comunicación, Marketing y Psicología. Actualmente, forma parte del equipo editorial y de comunicación de Chacruna Latinoamerica en México, donde contribuye al entendimiento y divulgación de temas relacionados con las plantas sagradas y psicodelia. Su trabajo incluye entrevistas y artículos que exploran el impacto cultural y cientifico de estas sustancias, promoviendo un puente entre la ciencia moderna y las prácticas ceremoniales ancestrales.
Ibrah Gabriell is a communicator and researcher specializing in expanded states of consciousness. He has been a university professor in the areas of Communication, Marketing, and Psychology. Currently, he is part of the editorial and communication team of Chacruna Latin America in Mexico, where he contributes to the understanding and dissemination of topics related to sacred plants and psychedelia. His work includes interviews and articles that explore the cultural and scientific impact of these substances, promoting a bridge between modern science and ancestral ceremonial practices.
Francisco Gómez-Mont
Estudió medicina en la UNAM y Psiquiatria en el Sanatorio Español, postgrado de las Universidades de Texas, Pennsylvania y Nueva York. Ha sido profesor por 20 años en la UNAM y en la UIA. Laboró en el Instituto Nacional de Psiquiatría por 18 años fundando la Unidad de Informatica e Información clínica. Sus investigaciones sobre psicometria y sobre neuroimagen han recibido múltiples referencias en la literatura internacional. Coorganiza los coloquios anuales de neurohumanidades. Es Codirector del Centro de Investigación de Neurohumanidades. Investiga la relación entre las ciencias de la complejidad, la consciencia, la biología cuántica, las neuroimágenes y las artes, en particular la Neurodanza y la Neuroliteratura.
He studied medicine at UNAM and Psychiatry at the Spanish Sanatorium, postgraduate studies at the Universities of Texas, Pennsylvania and New York. He has been a professor for 20 years at UNAM and UIA. He worked at the National Institute of Psychiatry for 18 years, founding the Informatics and Clinical Information Unit. His research on psychometrics and neuroimaging has received multiple references in international literature. He co-organizes the annual neurohumanities colloquia. He is Co-Director of the Neurohumanities Research Center. He investigates the relationship between complexity sciences, consciousness, quantum biology, neuroimaging and the arts, particularly Neurodance and Neuroliterature.
David Grinberg
David Grinberg es comunicólogo, Maestro en Artes Escénicas y experto en innovación y creación de contenidos en línea. Es un referente en el despertar de la consciencia y la divulgación científica. Autor de «Yosomos» y creador del podcast del mismo nombre, ha impactado a una audiencia amplia con su enfoque único. Su taller «Teatro Cuántico» ha sido presentado internacionalmente, explorando la intersección entre artes escénicas y consciencia. Además, es catedrático de la Universidad Iberoamericana, donde continúa inspirando y educando a las nuevas generaciones en el conocimiento científico y el desarrollo personal.
David Grinberg is a communications specialist, Master in Performing Arts and expert in innovation and online content creation. It is a reference in the awakening of consciousness and scientific dissemination. Author of «Yosomos» and creator of the podcast of the same name, he has impacted a wide audience with his unique approach. Her workshop «Quantum Theater» has been presented internationally, exploring the intersection between performing arts and consciousness. In addition, he is a professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he continues to inspire and educate new generations in scientific knowledge and personal development.
Isela Madriz
Isela Madriz León es investigadora y autora especializada en fenómenos paranormales y parapsicología. Desde 2012, ha sido miembro del Grupo Hades, el primer grupo de investigación paranormal y parapsicológica de Costa Rica, y actualmente es su codirectora. Fundó la Sociedad de Estudios Parapsicológicos y Paranormales de Costa Rica (SEPPCR) en 2021, enfocándose en el estudio cientifico de fenómenos paranormales. Autora del libro «Diagnostico Paranormal: Del Relato Cotidiano a la Investigación del Fenómeno Paranormal en Costa Rica». Ha tomado cursos en la Universidad de Edimburgo y la Universidad de Recolecta, y su objetivo es ayudar a la comunidad a comprender e investigar mejor los fenómenos paranormales.
Isela Madriz León is a researcher and author specializing in paranormal phenomena and parapsychology. Since 2012, she has been a member of Grupo Hades, the first paranormal and parapsychological research group in Costa Rica, and currently serves as its co-director. She founded the Sociedad de Estudios Parapsicológicos y Paranormales de Costa Rica (SEPPCR) in 2021, focusing on the scientific study of paranormal phenomena. Author of the book «Diagnostico Paranormal: Del Relato Cotidiano a la Investigación del Fenómeno Paranormal en Costa Rica» (Paranormal Diagnosis: From Everyday Stories to the Investigation of Paranormal Phenomena in Costa Rica). She has taken courses at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Recoleta, and her goal is to help the community better understand and investigate paranormal phenomena.
Javier Martínez
Javier Martínez, estudiante de física y miembro investigador destacado de UPIDE, aporta una perspectiva única a la vanguardia de la parapsicología. Con una trayectoria dedicada a la exploración de los fenómenos psíquicos, Javier hace investigación en termodinámica, orientada a comprender como se puede reconciliar la física conocida con la fenomenología de las interacciones materia-mente.

Servicios de Mapas y Transporte en Mérida
La mejor aplicación de mapas para México es probablemente Google Maps, y hay varias alternativas en cuanto al transporte en Mérida. Es importante destacar que muchos lugares centrales (como el Monumento a la Patria o la icónica avenida Paseo de Montejo) se encuentran a poca distancia a pie del lugar de la convención. Sin embargo, como mencionaremos más adelante, el clima en Mérida puede ser bastante caluroso.
El transporte en autobús en Mérida está gestionado por «Va y Ven» con una tarjeta inteligente de pago único por $25 MXN ($1.5 USD), y cada viaje cuesta $12 MXN ($0.70 USD). Sin embargo, por comodidad, recomendamos aplicaciones de transporte compartido como Uber, DiDi o InDrive, que son especialmente adecuadas para visitantes internacionales.
The best map app for Mexico is probably Google Maps, and there are several transportation alternatives in Mérida. It is important to note that many central locations (such as the Monumento a la Patria or the iconic Paseo de Montejo avenue) are within walking distance of the convention venue. However, as we will mention later, the weather in Mérida can be quite hot. Bus transportation in Mérida is managed by «Va y Ven» with a single-payment smart card for $25 MXN ($1.5 USD), and each trip costs $12 MXN ($0.70 USD). However, for convenience, we recommend ride-sharing apps like Uber, DiDi or InDrive, which are especially suitable for international visitors.
Traslado al Evento
Si llegas al Aeropuerto Internacional de Mérida, la forma más sencilla de llegar al centro de Mérida es tomando un taxi del aeropuerto, que podría costar entre $150-200 MXN ($9-12 USD) dependiendo de tu destino.
Alternativamente, puedes utilizar servicios de transporte compartido como Uber (u otras aplicaciones de taxis como DiDi o InDrive), que suelen costar entre $100-150 MXN ($6-9 USD). Ten en cuenta que es posible que debas caminar aproximadamente 10 minutos desde el aeropuerto hasta el lugar de recogida, ya que no se les permite esperar directamente en la terminal del aeropuerto.
Otra alternativa sería tomar el Autobús 701 (Ruta Aeropuerto), que cobra $45 MXN ($2.7 USD) y sale cada 30 minutos de 5 am a 11 pm desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Mérida hasta el centro de la ciudad. Alternatively, you can use ride-sharing services like Uber (or other taxi apps like DiDi or InDrive), which usually cost between $100-150 MXN ($6-9 USD). Keep in mind that you may have to walk approximately 10 minutes from the airport to the pick-up location, as they are not allowed to wait directly at the airport terminal.
Another alternative would be to take Bus 701 (Ruta Aeropuerto), which charges $45 MXN ($2.7 USD) and leaves every 30 minutes from 5 am to 11 pm from the Merida International Airport to the city center. If you are staying at the NH Collection or the City Express, you should get off at the Fiesta Americana and walk 7 minutes to your hotel. Attendees staying at the NH Collection or the City Express will enjoy complimentary parking. Others can park at the Paseo 60 facilities for $20 MXN per hour.
